The use of controlled ventilation systems in residential buildings is increasingly becoming the standard solution, but there are still occasional reservations, mostly stemming from poorly designed or maintained ventilation systems.<\/p>\n<p>In order to implement a ventilation system correctly, you will first learn about its components and their functions. We will then apply the applicable standards and physical laws to the ventilation planning for an example project and discuss the requirements for the design and operation of a ventilation system. Since passive houses in particular have been equipped with exemplary ventilation systems for over 30 years (with very good heat recovery rates of usually 80\u201395 %), you will also learn about the minimum requirements for ventilation system components specified by the Passive House Institute.<\/p>\n<p>Downloadable Excel tools for calculations, e.g. for a ventilation concept in accordance with
