Heat pumps and pellets complete the „ecolearn basic“ course series, each with 6 units accredited by dena.
Heating with renewable energies is becoming more and more important and will increasingly become mandatory due to upcoming legislation. Now, at the latest, not only heating engineers but also energy consultants from all disciplines should update their knowledge of heating with renewable energies, deepen their expertise and integrate it into their consulting practice. ecolearn has developed customised e-learning modules to ensure that this can be done easily and on the job, offering not only sound know-how at the highest level but also numerous features and practical aids for the day-to-day work of this important professional group. The learning modules have also been recognised by dena for further training with 6 units each.
Cooperation with federal associations ensures maximum relevance
Even though heating with renewable energies is by no means new, a lot is currently happening on the market. The ramp-up of production capacities at renowned heat pump manufacturers, the latest generation of appliances with climate-friendly refrigerants and low-emission pellet firing, changes in subsidy conditions and CO2 pricing, and increasingly interested building owners. Reason enough, therefore, to bring the topics of „heat pumps“ and „pellet firing“ up to date - in a form that is attractive and easy to update in the future: a part-time e-learning programme that can also be used as an everyday helper! ecolearn has already had very good experience with this since 2013 with the „ecolearn basic“ course series and has long since trained a four-digit number of energy consultants online.
Having become aware of this, both the Bundesverband Wärmepumpe e. V. (bwp) as well as the German Pellet Institute GmbH (DEPI) commissioned ecolearn to expand the established ecolearn-basic course series. This brings together the best format with the best available expertise at federal level. The two new courses „Heat pumps in energy consulting“ and „Pellet firing for energy consultants“ have been Recognised by the German Energy Agency (dena) for further training. Graduates receive 6 teaching units (TU) in the categories residential buildings, non-residential buildings and energy audit DIN 16247.
The content is continuously updated and updated in co-operation with the federal associations, even after the new courses have been published.
