Company growth requires an expanded product range

ecolearn has been offering e-learning solutions for the construction industry for around 10 years. The company's growing range of products and services has now been given a broader base through a comprehensive relaunch of the website. The company divisions are now more clearly defined and there is new room for further development.

"The underlying technology has been efficiently renewed and is now based on an innovative, ecolearn-own solution," explains Prof Dr Michael Marmann, one of the two managing directors of ecolearn. The business areas that have grown over the years have each been given their own section of the website to make navigation on the shared domain easier. In particular the ecolearn Academy benefits from the remodelling, as the learning room, shop and administration now work together in one place and are even more modern and easier to use. Courses can also be edited flexibly and user-specific certificates can now be generated automatically.

The ecolearn Infobase remains an independent networking platform and is now presented in its own section on the new ecolearn website to explain the numerous functions and possible uses of the infobase. "Building is a complex task. Especially in times of upheaval, fast and comprehensive information is essential in all project phases - only a common platform can provide this," says Inga-Lill Kuhne, summarising the benefits of the infobase. In addition to descriptions and FAQs, it will also be possible to book infobase services via a shop in future.

New is the area ecolearn Agencywhich summarises all development and creative services that ecolearn offers in connection with e-learning and knowledge management solutions. A growing customer base and new projects have led to this, the results of which are also used outside the ecolearn Academy. The agency can therefore respond flexibly to customer requests and also offer projects independently of ecolearn's own focus on sustainable construction.
