The free e-learning package "Green heat with pellets" consists of four exciting learning modules with many interactive elements. It is primarily aimed at trainees in the HVAC trade, but also at teachers and trainers who want to organise their lessons in a different way or are interested in varied material on the subject of pellet firing.
The technical and practical knowledge has been compiled by industry experts and prepared by specialists in online didactics in an exciting and accessible way for young tradespeople. It is also suitable for older "newcomers" in the field of renewable heat, as the advanced modules comprehensively present the legal and regulatory framework and even explain technologically sophisticated content.

This module contains a general introduction to climate change and the energy transition and serves as the basis for the following three modules in the pellet series.
1. fuel - pellets
In Module 1 of the pellet series, you will learn how pellets are produced and professionally delivered to the customer.
2. firing technology
Module 2 deals with the combustion technology of modern wood and pellet firing systems. The special features of different types of combustion are explained in a practical way - from pellet stoves and classic central heating to large-scale systems and combined heat and power (CHP).
3. pellet store
Module 3 focuses on the planning and construction of all types of pellet stores and how to handle them safely.
